History of the institution
Mokeri Grama Panchayat office initially functioned in a rented building at Makoolpeedika, operating from a small shop room. Later, in 1964, a separate Panchayat office building was constructed on 10 cents of land donated by a person named Moithu at Makoolpeedika.
After 40 years, the building became dilapidated, and the technical department recommended its demolition. Following this, 22 cents of land were purchased at Pathippalam. Until the new building was completed, the Panchayat office functioned temporarily at Paremmal Cultural Centre. After the construction of its own office complex at Pathippalam, the Panchayat office shifted its operations to the new building.
